Children love the book, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt, and for good reason. It has rhythm, repetition, and hand motions! Did you know that you can take this story farther than you ever dreamed? Make and explore algorithms – even with your younger elementary student! An algorithm is simply the series of steps needed to complete a task. Use this activity to get your child used to following steps. This will come in handy for priming your child’s ability to solve math problems and follow instructions in the future!
