Christmas is three days away. Are you marching triumphantly or hobbling toward the finish line? Some years I’m in such a frenzy and there’s very little joy. Other years, I’ve learned to simplify and find some of the most commonplace things to hold deep beauty.

Take, for instance, a roll of simple brown paper. I buy mine at the dollar store, and it never fails to add such a nice touch. I use it whenever I’m entertaining and want to add a special touch by lining the dining table with it. It’s also beautiful when used with these 8 gift wrapping hacks. Try it out!
