6 Practical Uses for Wood Ash

There’s something special about enjoying a fire in the fireplace or fire pit. It is so enticing that my family has no qualms about putting aside whatever we’re already in the middle of to come sit and enjoy each other’s company. The sound of the wood popping as the flames dance around the logs, the coolness of the night air, and the glorious stars – each placed their by the Creator – are all justifications to sit and rest. Here are six practical uses for your wood ash, the remains left from a night ’round the fire.
