Exploring Life Science is a 30-week science curriculum developed by a homeschooling mom with a Masters in Science education. This textbook includes 120 lessons over the course of 30 weeks. There are 60 reading lessons and 60 engaging lessons that involve hands-on activities or exploration of life.
Exploring Life Science is geared towards the upper elementary or middle school student who has an interest in life science. Scientific words and ideas are presented in the text and labs help students to explore those ideas. The curriculum can be done in many different ways and not all lessons need to be completed. Photos of many labs are included for those who can’t obtain special equipment, such as microscopes. Bible quotes are used throughout the text to help students appreciate what God has created.
