When Mr. Lund contacted me about doing a giveaway, I was pretty intrigued because I had never seen Loving Grammar before. He offered to send me a free copy to look over…and I was not disappointed.

This book is not like other grammar books. It is more like a fun, living book that incorporates short grammar lessons within a story. The lessons do not even seem like lessons! Instead, you feel as if you are right there, interacting with the characters in the book. Best of all, you naturally absorb all sorts of important grammar rules that most adults do not even know — such as the proper placement of punctuation marks and how to use commas.

This is definitely not a “busy-work-book,” and you do not have to do any diagramming! (Yay!) It simply helps to reinforce grammar for older students who need help to make grammar lessons stick.

I cannot find a grade level, which is not uncommon for homeschool curriculum. However, based upon my experience, I think elementary through adults will enjoy learning from this book.

Whether grammar is your delight or your dilemma—or your nightmare, this book is your guide to safe harbor. The Professional Clamdigging™ approach makes the solemn and practical pledge that you’ll never learn a single snippet of grammar without seeing how it solves a writing issue.  Choosing between I feel ‘bad’ and I feel ‘badly’ is impossible if you don’t know how action verbs and linking verbs operate.  Don’t know an adverb move from a bluegrass groove?  Don’t know if you should say ‘me’ or ‘I’?  Don’t know where to put commas (much less semi-colons) in a sentence?  You’ve come to the right place:  Loving Grammar.

Loving Grammar is a unique grammar book that is actually set in an English classroom. Lessons are self-paced and crystal clear and the goal is ALWAYS mastery learning!

Loving Grammar: Mr. Lund’s Guide to Professional Clamdigging is:

Colorful and zany —full of jazz and energy—more like a party or a good novel than a grammar book!

UP close and personal —like a tutor!

Practical —What you NEED is what you GET—no more, no less!

Mastery-oriented —And YOU WILL get it—count on that!

Each set it valued at $59.95, however you can save 20% off with coupon code: LGHGF
