We had a lot of entries for the “From Adam to Us” World History Curriculum for grades 5-8 from Notgrass Company! It is no wonder though, as this set is really incredible. When I received mine in the mail I was pretty impressed with what you get when you buy it as a set. Three of the books are full-color and hardback, making them a homeschool treasure!

From Adam to Us by Ray and Charlene Notgrass is a one-year world history and literature course designed for students in grades five through eight. The daily lessons are written in a narrative style and richly illustrated with color photographs and maps. Primary sources, literature, and hands-on activities help the student connect with the history in a personal way. Ages 10-14.

The From Adam to Us Curriculum Package includes the first six books listed below, enough for one child to complete the curriculum. If you are using the curriculum with more than one child, you can purchase additional consumable books, including the Map Book, Timeline Book, and either the Student Workbook or Lesson Review.

From Adam to Us Part 1: Creation to Cathedrals

This book has seventy-five lessons, designed to be completed in one semester, which begin in the week of Creation and continue through the time of the cathedrals of the Middle Ages. Full-color hardcover. 568 pages. View the Table of Contents and a Sample Unit

This collection of 43 maps was created especially to accompany this curriculum. At the end of many lessons, your student will do activities using the maps. Saddle-stitched. 89 pages. View Sample Maps
