FREE Potty Training Charts:
These work the best for motivated children. I had a late potty trainer and one day it finally clicked that if she filled that chart up she would get a favorite toy she had been wanting. That is when she actually began to seem to care about not going in her diaper anymore!

Potty Training Ideas:
I hate to say it, but bribery really does work for Potty Training! I had one daughter who was very into Disney princesses and she really wanted to go to Disney on Ice. I hung a picture of it and attached it to her potty chart as a reward for her. It really helped and she was potty trained before it came into town! Here are some fun ideas.
Make a Potty Treat Jar like this one from A Pumpkin and a Princess. Every time your tot uses the potty they get a little piece of candy. You can make it fun and give them one piece for #1, and two pieces for #2. Stick it on a high shelf in the bathroom so they can see it!
Make a Bag of Potty Prizes idea from Embellish with free printables. You could also pick a favorite toy they have been wanting and put it up on a shelf above the toilet!
Keep a basket of books that are just for potty time next to the toilet.
When my kids were potty training they always loved to “read” a book while they were waiting to go. I found a cute plastic basket from the dollar store and filled it with little board books from Chick-fil-a and some cute books from the dollar spot at Target. Those books had to stay in the basket and could not leave the bathroom. They looked forward to being able to look at them during potty time. I would always be on the lookout for new books to sneak into the basket.
