This IMAX film was produced by the scientists and professors from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. The Molecules to the MAX! DVD is the latest release of the Molecularium® Project, an educational initiative designed to teach children about science in an entertaining environment.

This animated film starts off with several atoms setting out on a search for the secret of life. Along the way, they are introduced some very basic elements and learn about some of their properties. The film introduces hydrogen, oxygen, argon, carbon (and other elements) and goes into detail about their properties. The film has really cute, catchy jingles/songs and is both entertaining and educational.
