I love working on Scripture memory with my kids. It is never too early to start them on appreciating Scripture, memorizing the word and hiding it in their hearts. I have started teaching Scripture to my kids as early as two.

There are 66 books in the Bible. The Old Testament has 39 books and the New Testament has 27 books. It is important to learn the names so your children can easily find scriptures when they are old enough to read the Bible on their own.
