Large Cut-Out Numbers by sproutingtadpoles.comMy boys have a tendency to grow tired of math worksheets every day but once they start doing pre-algebra and high school math, that is pretty much all they can do. They have to practice those equations constantly in order to get them right.

So I sat down with their math book and pulled out some basic formulas for them and made up some numbers and symbols to have some hands-on practice. This helps to break up the worksheet writing. I am going to add some new formulas in the upcoming weeks as I start going through their new Algebra book. Hopefully it will be pretty simple to do, but we shall see!

Here are some ideas of how to use the numbers and symbols. Now don’t go and try to solve my formula’s here because I just throw them together for pictures! :)
