Deciding what one wants to be when they grow up is such a big decision, one that even many adults still haven’t figured out. Yet, it’s one of the most frequently asked questions of children of all ages. To help demystify this age-old question, World for Learning has created a beautiful FREE printable to help your child think about his or her interests, strengths and career aspirations!

Oh the Places You'll Go - What I Want to Be When I Grow Up

The inspiration for this printable came from Dr. Suess’s inspirational and whimsical classic storybook, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! In this fun, sing-song story, Dr. Seuss shares that life will have ups and downs, you may go down one path only to discover you should’ve chosen another, yet through it all you WILL succeed (“98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed”).

World for Learning’s FREE printable helps to encourage kids of any age to think about what interests them, what their strengths are, and possible careers that interest them. This printable would make an excellent addition to your annual homeschool portfolio, as a way of seeing where your child’s interests, views of his/her strengths are, and career aspirations, as these may change from year to year. In addition to those sheets, she’s also included 3 of her favorite quotes from the book, in a decorative, printable version.
