Old Western Culture is a brand new Classical, Christian highschool curriculum by Romans Road Media! Carrie and I are so excited to use this curriculum this Fall with our own highschool students! The first year in the Old Western Culture Series is the Greeks!

Old Western Culture: The Greeks is a full year of instruction divided into four units: The Epics, Drama and Lyric, The Histories, and The Philosophers. Experience a world of literature guided by a master of the classics known for his contagious love of learning. Wesley Callihan weaves history, theology, philosophy, art, and poetry together in this double-credit course!

Students read and interact directly with the original works, but are guided by the commentary, analysis, and discernment of a master teacher in the form of in-depth video lectures and accompanying workbooks. The Greeks offers the homeschooler a complete literature and social studies course. Intended for high school aged students (14+). Hundreds of classical paintings, maps, timelines, and more are woven into the video lessons!

You can test drive sample lessons of the curriculum HERE.
