The American Twins of the Revolution

The Revolutionary War in 1777

The American Twins of the Revolution General Washington has no money to pay his discouraged troops and twins Sally and Roger are asked by their father, General Priestly, to help hide a shipment of gold which will be used to pay the American soldiers. Unfortunately, British spies have also learned about the gold and will stop at nothing to prevent it from reaching General Washington. Based on a true story, this is a thrilling episode from our nation’s history!

“This book was wonderful! My children could not get enough. Each chapter had them on the edge of their seats for what would happen next? We managed to read this book aloud in 3 days. As soon as I finished, my son took it from my hands to read on his own.” – Sharon, mom of six from NC

“The American Twins of the Revolution would make a delightful addition to any study of early American History.” – Cristi, Arkansas

Young Robin Hood

Young Robin Hood In the days of Robin Hood, a young boy named Robin is journeying through Sherwood Forest when suddenly the company is surrounded by men in green. Deserted in the commotion by an unfaithful servant, Robin finds himself alone in the forest. After a miserable night, Robin is found by Little John. Robin is treated kindly by Robin Hood, Maid Marian and the Merry Men, but how long must he wait for his father, the Sheriff of Nottingham, to come to take him home?

“…Young Robin Hood had the boys laughing at Robin’s antics by page two and asking for more of the story whenever I tried to move on to another activity…. Young Robin is a bit of a character himself, not unlike my active, adventuresome boys…. I would venture that boys of all ages will likely smile at the banter, adventure, and fun.” – Jennifer, Fairfax, Virginia

“[My son] who is so active that he normally can’t sit still for two minutes, actually sat enthralled while I read aloud Young Robin Hood.” – Tim T., Father of three boys
